Softball has always been a passion of mine. I started playing for a recreational team in my hometown. That was 7 years ago. I'm in 10th grade now, and I still play. I started off playing in the outfield, with a black and blue Easton glove and a purple and white 29 in. Easton bat. I still use both of them today. For a lot of girls, softball is a sport that they play with their friends, but for me, softball is my life. I play everyday, every morning, then I go to practice/ a game.
I gained the name Slugger my second year. I could hit the ball out to the opposite field (we played on a field that was facing another field.) I still get called that name, but since my injuries, I lost my power. Right now, I'm playing for my school team and a rec. team.
Throughout the years, I've moved around the field. I've played every position, including pitch and catch. I still pitch, but I am a relief. I stick with 1st, because I cannot throw the ball from short or third to first.
This blog isn't meant for me to be bragging or whining online, its for softball players. So enjoy. :)
